Probably one of the most prolific strikers for FC Koln in the Bundesliga, Dieter Muller scored 159 goals for FC Koln in domestic competitions for the Germany side but scored 177 goals in 303 games in the Bundesliga 5 of the goals coming from the penalty spot. He also holds the record of most goals by a player in a single match which he set while playing for FC Koln when he managed to find the back of the net six times in 7-2 victory over Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga.
