Once one of the most feared strikers in the world, many would have thought signing Falcao on loan from Monaco made nothing but sense. Unfortunately, whatever skill Falcao had during his time with Atletico Madrid and Porto didn’t seem to transcend well to the Premier League.
The deal to bring the Colombian to Old Trafford cost the club an outrageous £16m with £6m going to Monaco the rest going toward his £265,000-a-week wage. He then went back to Monaco, on loan to Chelsea, (equally as forgettable), and is now back with Monaco. Watch & Bet Football Live >
