Top 10 Fastest Football Players in the World 2018

2. Antonio Valencia (Manchester United): 35.2 km

Antonio Valencia is one of the Top 10 Fastest Football Players in the World

Most of Valencia’s true potential was seen during the 2011-2012 season where he attained the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award, Manchester United Players’ Player of the Year award and the Manchester United Goal of the Year award.

Valencia is also part of the Ecuadorian National Team and has performed at the 2006, 2011 FIFA World Cup and 2007, 2011 Copa América.

Antonio Valencia plays as a right winger and a right back position.

His position requires a player of great speed as to dash all the way to the opponents end and cross accurately to the striker. With Valencia’s speed of 35.2 km/h, the task comes with an ease.

2. Shane Long (Southampton): 35.32 km

I’m afraid this has to be updated. As of this year, Luis Advincula, Peruvian national player who plays for club LOBOS BUAP, has top speed of 36.15 km/hr recorded on 06/21/2018 during the World Cup match against France, in which they were eliminated from the cup. Passing #2 and falling short of Arjen Robben #1.
