In that game, the Chiefs quarterback guided his club to a commanding 16-point victory over the Minnesota Vikings.

It took fifty years for the Chiefs to return to the Super Bowl following Dawson’s triumph. In Super Bowl 59, Reid and Mahomes have transformed Kansas City into a dynasty and given them the opportunity to create NFL history by winning three straight.

Super Bowl 59 (Super Bowl LIX) is the Chiefs seventh Super Bowl appearance since 1966.
