Nico Kovac has not spoken about Pavard’s link to Bayern Munich

Niko Kovac has refused to speak on Pavard’s lik to Bayern Munich. The French defender was linked to a possible move to Bayern Munich and other clubs.

But the new boss at the German club has not responded about the rumored pre-contract agreement of for 2019, when a €35 million (£31 million/$41 million) release clause is reportedly due to come into effect.

Recently there were reports that English side Tottenham Hotspurs have approached the French player and were keen to sign the player according to TEAMtalk.

Kovac, in talk with news reporter has said that, “I cannot say anything about it,”

“You’ll have to contact Brazzo [sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic]. I can confirm that he is a really good player. We have a team of 22 players and it will be a difficult task to keep everybody happy. We do not talk about another one.”

Kovac also spoke about Bayern’s first-choice goalkeeper Manuel Neuer who was out for most of the matches due to broken foot.  He praised their second goalkeeper Sven Ulreich who performed admirably in Neuer’s absence.

He said, “Sven did a really good job, hardly anyone thought he could – he proved he was right to be here,”

“I know I can count on him, but Neuer is a world-class goalkeeper. I know who the number one is and who the number two is, but I also know that number two is a number one.”

The 22-year-old French defender has been very impressive while playing at right-back for France. But the player actually plays at center back for his present club Stuttgart.

Playing for Stuttgart, the defender has scored twice from the 81 appearances he mad for the club. Pavard’s value has risen all time high with his recent success with the French Team in the ongoing World cup and he wont come cheap. He will be available for €35 million (£31m/$41m) in 2019 due to a release clause in his contract.
