Manchester United v Hull City Predictions and Preview

Manchester United v Hull City Preview and Prediction? Manchester United take on Hull City in the EFL Cup semi-finals on Thursday, but how will they both line up?.  Here is our preview and predictions for the upcoming Premier League game Manchester United v Hull City on Thursday 26th January 2017 at Old Trafford, Kick-Off 19:45 pm Uk Time

Manchester United v Hull City Preview and Prediction.

Jose Mourinho’s United side found their first leg outing against Hull fairly comfortable, with a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini (I know. Fellaini.) But Hull’s new boss, Marco Silva, dubbed by many as the ‘new Mourinho’ has been working hard to improve a Hull side that has struggled so far this term, their last game coming in the form of a tough fixture with league leaders Chelsea, which resulted in another 2-0 defeat – despite this score line, Hull did have a few positives to take from the game, and certainly look like a much improved side under Silva, but will face a tough battle if they are to turn over a United side who are already 2 to the good.

Manchester United v Hull City Team news

Here are the latest Manchester United v Hull City Team news for the upcoming game on on Thursday 26th January 2017 at Old Trafford, Kick-Off 19:45 pm Uk Time

Manchester United Team news

It is expected that both Marcos Rojo and Anthony Martial will be recalled by Jose Mourinho to the side for this one, with Rojo having missed out the game against Stoke via illness, while Martial is expected to return, with Mourinho simply saying he was “not selected” for the Stoke game – it is also possible that Luke Shaw may get his first run out since November, but it is much more likely he will play in United’s upcoming FA Cup fixture with Wigan.

Hull City Team news

Hull will be hoping that top-scorer Robert Snodgrass will return for this game, after he sat out through illness in their last fixtures, although speculation about his future has also been all over the papers – with that said, even if Snodgrass does wish to leave, it seems unlikely we would be dealing with another Payet situation, so if he is ‘fit’ – I have no doubt he will play.

The only player we are sure will NOT be taking part for Hull City is Ryan Mason, who suffered a terrible clash of heads with Chelsea defender Gary Cahill in Hull’s last game, and was taken to hospital with a fractured skull – news has been positive on his condition, though, and we wish him a very speedy recovery.

Manchester United v Liverpool predictions & betting tips

Here are our Manchester United v Hull City predictions and betting tips:

United recently found themselves held to a draw against Stoke, and another of the same 1-1 score line when they faced Liverpool, but it seems unlikely Hull will be able to fight their way out of this one – ultimately, I expect Hull to put up a good defensive showing, and attempt to have a good go at United’s back line, but the ‘new Mourinho’ will still fall short of embarrassing his more experienced counterpart.
