Chelsea vs Tottenham Predictions? I’s a derby this weekend, as Antonio Conte’s Chelsea face Pochettino’s Spurs side. Chelsea and Tottenham go head-to-head this gameweek in what should be one of the highlights of the weekend.

Chelsea have become a rejuvenated side under the management of Antonio Conte and they are currently sat in first place in the league. They’re in form and firing on all cylinders ahead of this weekend’s fixture, so they’ll be hoping they can pick up all three points.

Tottenham have also started the season pretty well. Despite drawing half of their games so far this season, they are sat in fifth place, are still fighting for the title and a top four spot and are the only side in the top tier to not have lost a game yet.

They’ll be hoping that they can keep that run going this weekend by picking up some points against their London rivals.

Chelsea have kept a clean sheet in their last six Premier League matches.

It’s a stat that could worry Tottenham fans – the Blues are clearly hard to break down at the back. That’s in no small part down to the management of Antonio Conte, who always manages to get his teams solid at the back. He did it with Italy at the Euros and he is doing it again at Stamford Bridge.

That isn’t to say that Spurs won’t be able to break the Blues down. Tottenham have Harry Kane firing in the goals again and he’s bagged five already this season. Dele Alli has also continued where he left off last season and he too can find the back of the net.

Chelsea – Eden Hazard

While Diego Costa has been ripping nets for most of this season so far, bagging ten at this early stage of the campaign, I believe it’s Hazard who could be the key man for the Blues in this fixture.

Not only is he capable of scoring himself and setting up his teammates but on his day, he can produce bits of pure brilliance. On his day, he is arguably one of the best players in the division.

His forward runs and mazy dribbling causes constant problems for opposition defences and Tottenham may find it hard to deal with him. Spurs will be hoping an off-form Hazard turns up against them this weekend.

Tottenham – Heung-Min Son

Son has had a superb season for Spurs so far. He is their second highest scorer and also has the third most assists at the club so far as well, showing just how fantastic he can be.

This season he has really shone and he’ll be hoping to impress against Chelsea this weekend. He’s helped his side remain unbeaten with some great displays already this campaign and although it’s another big test against Chelsea, it’s nothing the former Bayer Leverkusen man won’t be able to handle.

Liverpool vs Sunderland predictions

This is a really hard game to call, with both teams strong in different areas and both teams doing well in the league. Chelsea will be extremely hard to break down but Harry Kane could be the one to break through the Blues solid defensive line and fire in the opening goal. Then the floodgates could open.

However, Chelsea have Diego Costa and with ten goals already this season and with the forward showing no signs of slowing down, he could certainly have an impact as to which way this game goes. If Tottenham do score, Costa can ensure his side score more. If he has an off day, then the Blues could also have an off day.

It should certainly be tight and Spurs will definitely not want to lose to try and maintain their current unbeaten run.

I expect a closely-fought contest, which will likely end in stalemate. Chelsea will likely bag a goal through their in-form talisman Diego Costa but I can see Spurs fighting and nabbing a goal back through Harry Kane. The striker will be boosted by his performance in Spurs last game and that confidence could carry over into this fixture and help him find the back of the net again.

Liverpool vs Sunderland Score and betting predictions

Chelsea, current table leaders, take on London rivals, Spurs, as they’ll be fighting to take all 3 points from the fixture in a bid to keep their current top place position. In addition, Chelsea haven’t conceded in their last 6 and will be keen also to hold onto this whilst Spurs haven’t lost one in their Premier League campaign to date.

A home win is probably most likely here at 8/11 though we wouldn’t rule out a draw at 13/5 with bet365.
