Brazil are favourites, but England are strong at home and impressed against world champions Germany on Friday. We’re backing a draw at 3.75 with bet365. Below you can read the reasons for our England vs Brazil predictions.
We expect a 1-1 draw at 7.0 with bet365
Whilst Brazil are the team in form, England’s young team impressed against Germany and are strong at home. We think they can get a draw here at 3.75 with bet365.
The Three Lions have Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling, Dele Alli, Jordan Henderson, Fabian Delph and Harry Winks all out, but their replacements made a good impression against Germany and had chances to win the match.
Brazil have won an incredible 25 of their last 26 friendlies, but they did lose their last one against relatively strong opposition – beaten 1-0 by Argentina back in June.
In terms of quality they have the edge and if Neymar, Coutinho and Gabriel Jesus are on form then they could easily win the match, but we think England will give a good account of themselves and secure a draw.
1-1 looks a good bet at 7.0 with bet365. The Lions have only beaten Brazil four times from 25 previous meetings, but are unbeaten in three at home against La Selecao and won the last meeting back in 2013.
As for first goalscorer, we’re going to look past Brazil’s host of star names and go for Jamie Vardy, who is priced at at 8.5 with bet365 to open the scoring.
England host Brazil at Wembley stadium on Tuesday evening. The Three Lions are missing a lot of players but even so held Germany to a respectable 0-0 draw on Friday. Brazil are in great form, winning 3-1 away at Japan last time out.
England are unbeaten in five, although they didn’t particularly convince in qualifying. In recent friendly matches against top opposition, they lost to Germany and France and drew 2-2 with Spain after throwing away a two goal lead in the closing minutes.
England Form: DWWWWL
La Selecao won their World Cup qualifying group by 10 points and look strong under new manager Tite. Many people are backing them to win the World Cup next year. They have won 25 of their last 26 international friendlies.
Brazil Form: WWDDWW
The Three Lions have played Brazil 25 times before, winning on just four occasions. The South Americans have won 11 of the previous meetings, with 10 ending in a draw. Their last meeting was a friendly in Rio de Janeiro back in 2013, which ended 2-2.

Gareth Southgate is without a number of players due to injury. Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling, Dele Alli, Jordan Henderson, Fabian Delph and Harry Winks were all named in the original squad but have been pulled out by their clubs. Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Angus Gunn and Lewis Cook have been called up since the Germany match.
The likes of Neymar, Coutinho and Gabriel Jesus will be involved at Wembley. Filipe Luis is injured, and there is no place in the squad for Chelsea defender David Luiz.
