Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has said that Jadon Sancho was not ready for the challenge in England.
“He didn’t want to take this challenge, this opportunity to discover if he was able to,” the Manchester City manager said. “He decided to go there. So it’s perfect. It’s going well and congratulations on what he is doing. He is doing an incredible performance. He did incredibly well this season. What would have happened this season (here)? I don’t know. With the players, it depends on them and what they do on the pitch.”
Sancho has since moved from England to Germany. It has seen a meteoric rise in the youngster’s performance. He has become a star at Borussia Dortmund. He has played excellently and at this young age he has become a first team member at the German club. He recently got a call for the first team to England and has played well there as well.
His move which has helped him succeed, has made him become an example for other players. Indeed Sancho’s move was such a hit that Bayern Munich came in with a huge sum of money to steal away Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi. The player has been developing strength and name but definitely would not have had the same situation had the Sancho move not succeeded.
