The world of football is still mourning the loss of Leicester City boss who tragically passed away in an air crash and we have been hit once again with more terrible news.
Argentine striker Emiliano Sala is now being reported missing while he was on a chopper which was crossing the English channel. Sala was on board an aircraft which disappeared from radar near the Channel Islands on Monday evening, three days after he completed his transfer from Nantes to Cardiff.
Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino who is from his home country, has paid tribute to the player and has wished his best to the striker’s family who we know must be going through an incredibly difficult time.
“I know him but I never met him,” Pochettino said. “Of course, from yesterday, it was very shocking. When you receive news like this you realise that life can change very quickly. I want to send all my love and positive energy to his family. Also for Argentina, Nantes, the family in France and of course Cardiff. My wish and my hope is to wait for some good news.”
