Ibra is not going anywhere.

Agent Mino Raiola says reports he has tried to take Zlatan Ibrahimovic from LA Galaxy to Boca Juniors are wide of the mark.

The prolific 37-year-old LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been in devastating form in MLS and reports of a move to the Argentinian outfit had emerged. The former Barcelona, Manchester United, AC Milan and Inter Milan forward has scored 27 goals in 26 appearances this season for Galaxy, taking his overall record with the MLS side to 49 goals in 53 games.

Reports in Spain have claimed Ibrahimovic is a target for the Argentine giant. AS reported that super-agent Mino Raiola had offered the veteran striker to Boca Juniors, from a source close to the negotiations.  The report also suggested that both Boca chairman Daniel Angelici and sporting director Nicolas Burdisso had sanctioned the deal.

The Argentine side has already landed former Roma captain Daniele De Rossi, with rumors suggesting Ibrahimovic could follow from Galaxy when his contract expires in December.

Raiola, however, used Twitter to refute claims he is trying to engineer a move to the Copa Libertadores semi-finalist for Ibrahimovic: “I have never offered Ibrahimovic to Boca Juniors or to anybody else. Total fake news,” Raiola wrote on Twitter.

As it stands, the Swede is not expected to renew his deal in Los Angeles, with yet another challenge in a sprawling career set to be undertaken instead, even if his next destination in not Boca Juniors.
