Manchester City sign Pablo Moreno in swap deal from Juventus with Felix Correira going the other way
Juventus have confirmed the signing of Felix Correira from Manchester City with forward Pablo Moreno heading the other way as part of a swap deal.
Pablo Moreno joins Manchester City on a four-year deal and will arrive at the Etihad at the start of the summer transfer window.
Moreno’s career began at Barcelona’s La Masia academy, where he broke several goal-scoring records.
The Spaniard has been a part of the under 23 Juventus squad for two seasons. The youngster featured in the senior squad once under Massimiliano Allegri but has not been used by Maurizio Sarri.
He can surely be a direct replacement for Sergio Aguero in the future when the Argentine decides to hang his boots.
Internationally, the 18-year-old has been capped by Spain up to the U-18 level and was a member of the squad for the U-17 European Championships and World Cup.
Manchester City supposedly will be paying in the region of £9million for the Spaniard.
Meanwhile, Correira signed a five-year contract which will tie him down to Juventus till June 2025. The youngster leaves City just one year after joining from Sporting Lisbon.
