Tottenham Hotspur could return for Adama Traore in the summer transfer window
Tottenham had attempted to sign Traore during the January transfer window, but Barcelona outbid them. Antonio Conte was irritated by their failure since he had planned to employ the winger as a right wingback.
The Catalans beat them to the loan signing of the forward, who has the option to make the move permanent.
The Blaugrana are anxious to use the clause, but their financial predicament may prevent them from paying the £29 million in transfer fees. Barcelona president Joan Laporta has also expressed reservations over a permanent move for the Spaniard. As a result, if the Spanish club does not exercise the option, Spurs may renew their interest in trying again next summer.
The Wolves player did not seek a contract extension with his loan club, which means he will be in the final year of his contract if Xavi Hernandez’s team allows him to go this summer. The Wanderers are eager to sell him since they may lose him for free at the conclusion of the season.
Traore’s decision-making in the final third is being scrutinised, but he has demonstrated the capacity to prosper in the correct system. Conte seems to be eager on incorporating him into the Tottenham puzzle, and fans should assist the Italian in carrying out his intentions.
