Coutinho only signed a new long term contract with Liverpool back in January, but reports linking the Brazilian with a move away from Anfield do not seem to go away.
So, here is a list of potential destinations for “the little magician”
5 – INTER MILAN
It has been clear that a major overhaul is needed at the San Siro. Last year, it looked as though this revamp had taken place when Chinese commerce group Suning bought them over in the summer, but funds were not made available instantly.
But it seems now the new owners are preparing to pump a lot of money to restore the side to their former glory.
Bringing Coutinho back would be a big statement, and could well be the start of a wave of new faces bringing the side back to the top of Serie A.
4- AS MONACO
Monaco have had a great season, progressing to the Champions League semi-finals, and look on track to beat PSG to the Ligue 1 title.
They are also no strangers to splashing the cash, and do have a hefty amount of transfer money at their disposal if called upon, especially if they do win the league.
Bringing in Coutinho would be a wonderful signing for the French side as they look to have another crack at the Champions League, and potentially defend their Ligue 1 crown.
3 – JUVENTUS
Any player would relish the chance to work under Massimiliano Allegri.
His creative brilliance alongside his industrious work rate would allow Coutinho to become the star player he was born to be. The Brazilian could easily operate as one of the two behind the striker, drifting out wide at times to create overloads.
Juventus have performed admirably and have reached the Champions League final this season. With Coutinho, they could keep their dominance next season – or perhaps, even be more of a force than they have been this season.
2 – PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN
PSG are known for flexing their financial muscle when they need to bring in new players, and they are particularly fond of bringing big names.
Coutinho could well be an option for the French side, who will almost certainly be able to afford the hefty fee Liverpool will likely demand.
1 – BARCELONA
This seems to be the most likely destination for Coutinho if he is indeed to leave Liverpool.
Reports linking the Brazilian with a move to Barcelona have been by far the most prominent.
Coutinho would undoubtedly suit Barcelona, and with them out of the Champions League, they will be looking for a stronger campaign next season – something Coutinho may well play a part in.
