Although the Hamburg keeper has rejected two previous offers from the london club he may consider an offer from Arsenal in January. He has been a target of Arsene Wenger’s for nearly a year now due to a highly successful season last year. At the age of 15 he had the opportunity to go to the Premier League but opted for Bayern Leverkusen. He then again received contact from the gunners after playing in the Under 20 world cup.
Rene Adler is keen to move to England at some point in his career. He is impressed at the attitude towards football in the country he feels that the english people consider it a religion and there is intense support to all of the big clubs. The keeper feels honoured to be of interest to the english club. He wants to move to a bigger club to contend for a world cup spot in the German squad. The estimated price for Arsenal would be £4 million.
