Alberto Moreno has pulled out of Seville`s squad for tonight`s Euro Super Cup match against Real Madrid. The Spanish left back has been a target of Liverpool all summer, and the two clubs have been unable to agree a fee.
The club initially agreed a fee of around £18 million with Seville a few weeks ago, but Seville wanted the fee up front for the blistering fast full back. Ian Ayre of Liverpool was in Spain last week to discuss the deal, but was unable to complete the deal.
Liverpool have signed Javier Manquillo and Dejan Lovren this summer to boost their poor defence, and our willing to continue their summer spending to bring Moreno in for an initial fee of £12 million.
After the clubs have finally agreed a deal to bring the talented fullback to Anfield, the player will now have a medical on Merseyside tomorrow.
