Juventus manager Massimilano Allegri has stated that midfielder Arturo Vidal will NOT be moving to Manchester United, reports the Daily Star.
Vidal, aged 27 has been United’s prime target this summer, with Van Gaal keen to bid around £40 million for the Chile international, who impressed at this summer’s World Cup in Brazil.
Italian press also claim that a deal for Vidal, plus Javier Hernandez and Nani in exchange was almost done, claims that are wide of the mark according to Allegri, who confirmed that Vidal is set to remain in Turin with the Serie A club.
But Allegri wants Vidal to stay and said: “Vidal? He’s not going anywhere.”
