According to reports in both Spain and Turkey, The Turkish international is nearing an exit with his current club.
Ahmet Bulut, agent of Arda Turan, said to Turkisk TV: “The transfer of Arda to the Premier League this summer is likely.”
“England is where most of the interest in him lies and they are well informed about Atletico’s stance. They know that the Madrid club are rejecting all offers for him, but if they pay his release clause, there is nothing the club can do.”
“No team has come close to offering the £20m stated in his contract, but there has been a lot of activity this summer.”
A bid from Monaco was made (£14.5m) but both Atletico Madrid and Arda himself turned it down.
Clubs interested in the 26-year-old is Galatasaray, Monaco, Chelsea and Liverpool.
