Argentinian star, Nicolas Gaitan, is reportedly close to signing for an unnamed Premier League side after his agents arrived in the UK to finalise a deal.
Although fresh from celebrating his second league title with Benfica, it looks almost certain the 27-year-old attacking midfielder will be leaving the Portuguese giants at the end of the season, and England looks like being his probable destination.
Chelsea and Manchester United have both been heavily linked with the diminutive little midfielder for some time, and according to trusted reports in Portugal, his representatives Luis Filipe Vieira and Jorge Mendes are talking with a mystery English club.
Gaitan, from San Martin in Western Argentina is understood to have a release clause of around £25million in his current deal, and that will certainly not put the big boys of the Premier League off an approach. Watch this space for more news.
