Arsenal and Manchester United are set to do battle for Juventus defender, Angelo Ogbonna.

According to reports in Italy, the two Premier League sides are scouting the centre-back ahead of a potential January bid once the transfer window reopens.

Both sides are in dire need of defensive reinforcements, with injuries leaving Arsenal very shy at the back, and United leaking goals for fun.

Ogbonna, who has recently broken into his national side, can play either side in the heart of the defence and it’s believed that he will access his future at Juve before making any decisions on a potential move away.

It’s thought if Juve do choose to sell, the English sides would have to part with at least £12million in order to sign him.
