Arsenal have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, as they striker has decided he wants to leave the Bernabeu.
The Gunners have been linked with a move for the Frenchman on plenty of occasions over the last few seasons, and now it’s thought that Real Madrid are ready to sell for £50million.
Benzema has been struggling for form. He hasn’t scored in five appearances for Real and the fans are slowly starting to turn against him.
Chelsea, who defeated Arsenal 3-1 on Saturday, are also believed to be interested in Benzema.
And they could well be on the hunt for a new attacker this summer after the recent issues with Diego Costa, who may still leave London for the riches of the Chinese Super League very soon.
