The defender has publicly criticised the Arsenal boss

Arsenal are ready to let Mathieu Debuchy leave the club this month after the defender publicly criticised Arsene Wenger.

The right-back is already interesting several teams in France and the Gunners are ready to let him join a new club after some of his latest comments in the French media.

Debuchy has spoken out and claimed that Arsene Wenger blocked a move that would have seen the player join Man United back in January last year and the 31-year old has criticised him because of it.

Planned to use Debuchy as RB cover

Arsene Wenger doesn’t take comments like this lightly and although he was considering giving Debuchy a chance and keeping him as cover in the right-back position, he is now believed to be looking to sell him on instead.

Recently, the Frenchman has struggled to get first-team action, which is in no small part due to the emergence of Hector Bellerin in the full-back position.

Debuchy has also had to deal with an injury as of late, which has also forced him to miss out on any gametime.

Carl Jenkinson – another right-back – is also likely to leave the club this month on loan, with several English sides interested.
