De Bruyne has been linked with a move to the Premier Leage and it seems Arsenal are leading the chsse for his services

Former Chelsea attacking midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is being targeted by Arsenal in the January transfer window.

The Belgian international joined the Blues in 2012 for £7 million, but made just three appearances for the London outfit during his two year stint at Stamford Bridge.

He was loaned back to Genk after completing his move in the January window three years ago, and was sent out on loan to Werder Bremen for the 2012-13 season.

But, it was fellow Bundesliga club Wolfsburg who snapped up the 23 year-old in the summer of 2014 for £18 million and it looks as if they will at least recoup what they paid for the 28 times capped Belgian international.

He has netted six times this campaign for Die Wölfe and bagged 12 assists, and due to his impressive form, clubs have been linked with his signature.

Manchester City, who were defeated by the Gunners 2-0 on the weekend, were linked with a £35 million switch for the playmaker earlier this season, but it now seems Arsene Wenger is leading the chase for the young Belgian.
