Wolfsburg club director Klaus Allofs has told Arsenal and PSG that their target Julian Draxler will NOT be leaving the club in January.
Both clubs have been repeatedly linked with a move for the playmaker over the recent seasons.
Draxler almost left the club this summer, but was convinced to stay by Allofs, who has now reiterated the club’s intentions to keep hold of the German international.
‘It is wrong to think we are looking to sell him. We are not planning to sell anyone,’ Allofs told WAZ.
‘The most important thing is that the impression that Julian wants out disappears. He wants to do everything within his powers to be successful at Wolfsburg.
‘There is absolutely no reason to even talk about Julian leaving in January.
‘I am convinced Julian will not repeat his comments from last summer.’
Wolfsburg have been struggling so far in the Bundesliga, taking just 9 points from 11 games and sitting 14th in the table.
