Arsenal told they can have PSG star for £40m

Arsenal are looking to replace their star winger Alexis Sanchez, who is likely on his way out, and have set their sights on PSG star Julian Draxler.

Arsenal have been told that PSG are willing to let Draxler go if they meet their price tag for the German international.

PSG have set a £40m price tag on Draxler and have told Arsenal they can have him if they meet their valuation of the German star.

The 24-year-old is seen as the ideal replacement for the unsettled Alexis Sanchez who is likely leaving in January or the end of the season with his contract running out.

But Wenger is reportedly only willing to spend £30m on the PSG star, and only if Sanchez leaves the club.

The 29-year-old Chilean star could be on his way to Manchester City in January and Arsenal will be willing to let their star player go for around £40m but only if they can find a replacement, and Draxler is viewed as one of their top options.

Additionally, Draxler is reportedly eager for a move to the Premier League after falling out of the PSG first team since Neymar and Mbappe arrived at the club prior to this season.

Draxler has made 40 appearances for the German national team and has a World Cup winners medal in his trophy cabinet.
