Arsenal are considering a move for Mauro Icardi.
According to reports, the Gunners are on the hunt for another striker and Icardi is one of the names that is high on boss Arsene Wenger’s wanted list.
The Inter Milan man could very well be leaving Italy this summer, with reports suggesting he is looking to leave the club and that the Italian side could be willing to sell him on.
However, he wouldn’t be too cheap, with the Serie A side set to ask for around £25m for his services.
Arsenal though could be more than willing to pay that amount for a striker who certainly knows where the goal is – this year he has scored 15 goals in 33 games, while in his club career, he has scored 58 goals.
Arsene Wenger is definitely keen to bolster his attacking options this summer in a bid to help fire Arsenal to the Premier League title and Icardi is just one of the players being linked with a move.
If they did manage to land the 23-year old from Inter, then they could very well find themselves in amongst the title challengers next year.
