Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that the drive to succeed has not gone away and he is still as passionate about the game as he was when he first took charge of the North London club.

Wenger has been at The Gunners for 17-years now, the club’s longest-serving and most successful manager, but being 64, many people have questioned whether he still has the same passion and drive for the game.

However, the Frenchman has admitted that it has never gone away from him and as long as he’s still involved with the game, he will still have the hunger.

The Arsenal boss was taking part in a Q&A session for the club’s official Twitter account and one fan asked whether or not he still has the same desire, and he responded by saying;

“Certainly, I have a few more wrinkles (now) (but) what has stayed the same is the huge desire to win every single game.”
