Arsenal want play-maker from Real Madrid

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is to urge the club’s board to splash the cash on signing Real Madrid star Isco.

The Spaniard has struggled to get regular first-team football at the Bernabeu since arriving from La Liga rivals Malaga, and Wenger is now ready to lure him to the Emirates Stadium in the New Year.

With the likes of Toni Kroos, James Rodriguez, Gareth Bale, Mateo Kovacic and Cristiano Ronaldo all keeping Isco out of the starting XI in Madrid, the former-Malaga man could be ready to call time on his career at the Bernabeu.

Wenger Wants Isco

According to reports, Wenger is set to hold talks with Arsenal‘s board and is ready to convince them about signing Isco.

The only potential stumbling block would be Madrid’s asking price for the midfielder, and it’s believed they want at least £36.7million.

If the Gunners do go ahead with the deal, it would make Isco their second-most expensive signing ever, only behind Mesut Ozil who they signed for £42m.
