Chelsea are reportedly in deep negotiatians regarding a possible transfer for outsider Fernando Torres. According to reports in Spain, the reigning La Liga champions are keen on the player, who left them to join Liverpool in 2007.

However, the Catalan club have refused to meet the Blues’ valuation of the player, which stands at £13 million, which is a humongous £37 million less then what the West London club payed for him in 2011. Chelsea and Atletico have already been doing heavy business together, with both Diego Costa and Felipe Luis joining the Blues so far this summer, while keeper Thibaut Courtios returned to Stamford Bridge after 3 seasons on loan at the Spanish club.

It is also believed that Chelsea boss Jose Mourihno is eyeing-up a deal for Atletico defender Joao Miranda, who had an impressive season with Madrid last term. However,  the club is reluctant to sell the centre-back, but if the Blues meet the buy-out clause in his contract, the defender could be well on his way to Stamfrod Bridge this summer, despirte Mourihno himself claiming that Chelsea wouldn’t sign anymore players this transfer window.

Meanwhile, Atletico midfielder Tiago is yet to decide on a possible move to Stamford Bridge.
