Atletico Madrid are targeting Alexis Sanchez as a potential replacement for Manchester United target Antoine Griezmann.
United have been very strongly linked with the Madrid striker, who could be set to leave for an £85million fee.
Sanchez’s deal at Arsenal expires next summer and he too has been linked with moves away from the Emirates.
Arsenal’s recent slump in form has seen them slip out of the title race for another season, which won’t be helping in them in convincing Sanchez to stay.
Simeone would be interested in replacing Griezmann with Sanchez, should the Frenchman leave for United.
Price rumours have indicated his fee could go up to anything around the £70million fee.
