Chelsea left-back Cesar Azpilicueta has welcomed the arrival of Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas at Chelsea.
The defender believes that the signing of Fabregas could further their potential to seal the premier league next season, and has insisted that Fabregas could become a star player at Stamford Bridge next year.
Fabregas left Barcelona to join Chelsea for £27m pounds last week after becoming an unhappy figure at the Nou Camp.
And Azpilicueta has revealed he has already congratulated Fabregas on his Stamford Bridge switch.
“I have congratulated him and I am very happy because we have signed a great player who is going to help us grow a lot collectively,” Azpilicueta told Spanish paper El Mundo.
“I haven’t had to tell him much about the Premier League because he knows English football perfectly.”
