Winger deals Premier League sides blow

Gareth Bale has insisted that he will remain with Real Madrid this summer.

The 25-year-old Welshman has been a prime target for a return to the Premier League with Manchester United and Chelsea following a tough second campaign in the Spanish capital.

Bale has suffered criticism from supporters and journalists in Spain, following an inconsistent campaign.

Despite this, Bale revealed that he has no intention to depart Madrid in the summer, and wants to win the European Cup and La Liga titles, come next season.

Bale wants titles

Bale, who joined Real from Tottenham Hotspur in an £86million deal in the summer of 2013, hopes that Los Blancos can get back to title-winning ways, under new manager Rafael Benitez.

The attacking midfielder said: “We were devastated not to be in the final this year. But we will go again next year and try to win it like we always do.

“We tried as best as we could but it wasn’t to be this year. We will all be giving 110 per cent next season to win every trophy. Hopefully we can bring a few back.”
