FC Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has been caught on camera telling Spain boss Vicente Del Bosque that Cesc Fabregas has agreed to leave the Spanish giants.
Before holding a press conference for Spain, the Barca centre-back was talking to the manager and with the microphones on at the table, cameras caught everything Pique was saying and he admitted that a offer had been accepted and a move was finalised.
Although Pique didn’t confirm which club Fabregas was going to, it’s widely believed that it’s Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea that are set to sign him for just under £30million.
Pique is heard saying: “[Cesc Fabregas] told me [the deal] is done. He’s already leaving, he told me that it is €33million.”
Del Bosque replies by saying: “Poor president (in reference to Club President Josep Maria Bartomeu). He can’t win for losing.”
