Man United are also interested in the Barcelona man

Bayern Munich are set to launch a bid to sign Pedro, according to reports.

The Express claims that the German giants are keen on signing the Barca player due to the fact he is seen as a good replacement for Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, who are both over 30. Both have also been plagued by injury in their career (more so Ribery than Robben though).

Guardiola is keen on a reunion

Pep Guardiola – who has worked with the Spaniard before during his time in charge at the Nou Camp – is keen on a reunion and believes he can land the winger over Man United, who are also keeping tabs on him.

The 28-year old could cost any potential suitor up to £22m and with the Red Devils having only previously offered £17m – and with the Bundesliga side willing to match the asking price – Bayern could very well snatch Pedro from under Louis Van Gaal’s nose.
