According to reports from Don Balon, Bayern Munich are willing to make a €120 million move for Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio in the summer. After reportedly falling out with manager Santiago Solari, Marco Asensio is willing to leave Los Blancos in the summer.
Several clubs were interested in signing Asensio including Manchester United. However, it seems that Bayern are in pole position to sign the 23-year old Spaniard.
Marco Asensio joined Real Madrid from boyhood club Real Mallorca in 2014 on a transfer fee of €3.9 million. He has loan spells and Mallorca and Espanyol before becoming a regular for Real Madrid from the 2016-17 season onwards. So far, Asensio has made 122 appearances for Real Madrid, scoring 26 goals and providing 15 assists. This season, the Spaniard has made 31 appearances for Los Blancos across all competitions so far, scoring 5 goals and providing as many assists.
Bayern Munich are in need of some reinforcements in the forward department as Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben are set to leave the club in the summer. Hence, Marco Asensio can be a very suitable addition for the Bavarians.
