German heavyweight Bayern Munich are targeting a move for Arsenal star Granit Xhaka.
This is according to Ottmar Hitzfeld, who has had two previous stints at managing the European giants.
Speaking to German newspaper Bild, Hitzfeld said: “Bavaria certainly has Xhaka on the radar.
“Xhaka is always a topic of conversation for current top clubs and his development is not yet completed.”
Xhaka was snapped up by Arsene Wenger for £35m from Borussia Monchendgladbach in the summer.
But since making the big-money move, the Swiss star has failed to deliver on a regular basis.
