Defender quashes Man City rumours

Hector Bellerin has perhaps hinted that he will be staying at Arsenal this summer by declaring the club is his ‘home’.

The Gunners are thought to be livid with City for unsettling the 21-year-old, but Bellerin has declared he is content to be back at the London Colney training ground.

After returning to Arsenal duty after holiday, having featured for La Furia Roja at Euro 2016, Bellerin tweeted: “Nice to be back at home.”

Bellerin was one of Arsenal’s most impressive players last season and quickly established himself as a key part to Arsene Wenger’s side.

Arsenal were planning fresh contract talks with the player as a reward before City’s reported interest surfaced.

But now the player has dampened talks of a move away on his official Twitter account.

Bellerin will now look to get himself match fit for the Gunners’ opener against Liverpool on August 14.
