Roma fullback Mehdi Benaita has stated that he wants to join Chelsea this summer.
The player has been linked with both Chelsea and Manchester City, however the lure of London has proved to be too much for the French born fullback.
Benaita was a stand out performer as Roma finished 2nd in Serie A last season, and is rumoured to be worth around £12 miillion or so.
And the Italians are set to use the fullback as bait to sign Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku, aged 20 has enjoyed loan spells at West Bromwich Albion and Everton, scoring 25 goals in those loan periods.
