10) Rory Delap – SOUTHAMPTON vs Tottenham – 2004
What a goal from the former Southampton and Stoke City man. It’s a great finish on the move, at St. Mary’s, and it was actually his first goal in over 2 years when this went in.
9) Amir Zaki – Liverpool vs WIGAN – 2008
In 2008, Wigan Athletic signed Egyptian Amir Zaki, and for around half a season, had a world-class striker up front at the DW Stadium. This is the pick of the bunch of goals he scored during his brief spell of unstoppable form for Latics, in front of the Kop at Anfield.
8) Eidur Gudjohnson – CHELSEA vs Leeds – 2003
Gudjohnson was one of Chelsea’s main men for years and scored many goals, including this, one of the best Premier League overhead kicks.
7) John Barnes – Blackburn vs LIVERPOOL – 1994
One of Liverpool’s greatest ever players and you can see why. It was an absolutely brilliant goal from John Barnes.
6) Dimitar Berbatov – MAN UNITED vs Liverpool – 2010
This man never won many individual awards, but he is one of the true Premier League greats, one of the best strikers ever to play in England. This is such a fantastic goal. The way he controls it with his back to goal, bring it down and then hits it overhead, just knowing where the goal is, it’s absolutely sublime.
5) Peter Crouch – LIVERPOOL vs Bolton – 2007
For a big man, Crouch sure got himself up in the air well here. Fantastic technique in front of the Kop to bury it in the lower corner of the net. Great goal.
4) Andy Carroll – WEST HAM vs Crystal Palace – 2017
An epic goal by the Geordie against Crystal Palace at the Olympic Stadium. Like Crouch, it’s a very large and lanky guy, but found the ability here to produce this acrobatic finish.
3) Christian Benteke – Man United vs LIVERPOOL – 2015
Benteke didn’t do much at his time at Liverpool, but this was one of the greatest moments in a Red shirt. Unfortunately it was overshadowed by Anthony Martial scoring on his debut for United just 2 minutes later, but this was an unbelievable strike in front of the United fans at Old Trafford.

It comes off Rooney’s shin…but the timing of this goal is what makes it so great. A goal to win the Manchester derby, they don’t come better than this.
1) Emre Can – Watford vs LIVERPOOL – 2017
A newly crowned king of overhead kicks. The whole goal is just sublime. Can has to run at this ball at pace and times the leap and connection so perfectly for it to curl into the Watford goal. It was an absolutely majestic finish by Emre Can and the best Premier League overhead kick ever!
