Who has the best shot accuracy in the Premier League? With the end of the Premier League season nearing, we thought we’d take a look into some of the most accurate strikers in this season’s competition.

Top 10 Players With Best Shot Accuracy in the Premier League

After looking through all the stats, we have put together a top-10 list of the most accurate players in the Premier League according to their shot accuracy percentage. So starting from number-10, lets make our way down to the most accurate player in the 2014/2015 campaign.

10. Olivier Giroud – Arsenal

Shot Accuracy Percentage: 55%

Starting the list is Arsenal and France striker Olivier Giroud. The striker has been in superb form for The Gunners so far this season, especially in recent weeks and his 55% shot accuracy secures him 10th spot on our list.

The Arsenal man has had 58 shots this season and has a 55% shot accuracy.

9. Mario Balotelli – Liverpool

Shot Accuracy Percentage: 56%

Despite being considered a flop and a poor signing by Brendan Rodgers, Mario Balotelli has been one of the players with the most accurate shots in the Premier League this season with a shot accuracy of 56%.

Granted Balotelli hasn’t featured a lot this season, but with a shot accuracy of 56%, he finds himself 9th on our list.

Despite the impressive percentage, the Liverpool striker has found the back of the net only once in the Premier League since his arrival at Anfield.

8. Romelu Lukaku – Everton

Shot Accuracy Percentage: 56%

Coming at number 8 is former Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku. The young Belgium joined Everton at the start of the season for a fee around £28 million, becoming Everton’s most expensive transfer in the club’s history.

The 21 year old hasn’t had one of his best seasons and as a whole The Toffees have struggled to show their form of last year, but with a 56% shot accuracy, Lukaku makes his way into the top-10.

7. Papiss Cisse – Newcastle

Shot Accuracy Percentage: 56%

Yet another Premier League striker with a shooting accuracy of 56%, Newcastle United’s Papiss Cisse. The Senegalese striker has made a large proportion of his appearances coming off the bench, but with 11 goals to his name in the Premier League, he is currently joint 10th in the goalscorers list.

He also comes in at 7th on our accuracy list.

6. Brown Ideye – West Bromwich Albion

Shot Accuracy Percentage: 57%

Making our 10 Most Accurate Strikers in the Premier League list, is Nigerian striker Brown Ideye. After struggling to make an impact earlier in the campaign, Ideye has found himself since Tony Pulis’ arrival at The Hawthorns and has an impressive 57% shot accuracy.

The Baggies will be hoping that Ideye can be more effective next season as Pulis continues to have a positive effect on the striker.

5. Jonathan Walters – Stoke City

Shot Accuracy Percentage: 57%

A player who has been named Stoke City’s ”Mr Dependable” makes the list at number 5 and it’s none other than Jonathan Walters. The versatile player has netted seven times this season, making him the club’s joint top scorer and once again he’s had a great season for Mark Hughes’ men.

Walters can play various positions for The Potters and that why he is one of the most important players at the Britannia Stadium.

4. Harry Kane – Tottenham Hotspur

Shot Accuracy Percentage: 61%

In fourth place comes recently crowed PFA Young Player of the Year, Harry Kane. The 21 year old has been superb this season for Tottenham Hotspur, becoming the club’s first player to hit 30 goals in a season since Gary Linekar.

Out of the 92 shots he has taken this season 61% of them have hit the target. He is currently competing for this season’s Golden Boot alongside Diego Costa of Chelsea and Sergio Aguero of Manchester City.

3. Diego Costa – Chelsea

Shot Accuracy Percentage: 63%

Definitely Chelsea‘s talisman has to make the list of The 10 Most Accurate Strikers in the Premier League. The Spaniard has been outstanding for The Blues since joining them in the summer from Atletico Madrid for a fee of £32 million.

The striker has found the back of the net 19 times in the Premier League and has created a deadly partnership with Cesc Fabregas, who also joined the club from La Liga over the Summer. Costa and Fabregas fired Chelsea to the top of the table during the first-half of the season and they haven’t looked in danger of losing it ever since.

The Brazilian born striker has had 75 shots on target this season with 63% of them hitting the target.

2. Alexis Sanchez – Arsenal

Shot Accuracy Percentage: 65%

Another superb Summer signing makes the list and finishes in second place is Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez. Signed from FC Barcelona, the Chilean has been on fire in his debut season helping The Gunners reach yet another FA Cup Final and also potentially finish second in the Premier League.

Out of the 93 shots he has had for The Gunners, 65% of them have hit the target while 14 have found the back of the net.

1. Charlie Austin – Queens Park Rangers

Shot Accuracy Percentage: 67%

Finally the top dog on the list of 10 Most Accurate Strikers in the Premier League is Queens Park Rangers front man Charlie Austin.

The former Burnley has been in amazing form for QPR this season and is the main reason why The Hoops could avoid immediate relegation back to the Championship.

Charlie Austin has a shot accuracy of 67% in the Premier League, which crowns him as the most accurate striker in the Premier League during the 2014/2015 campaign.
