David Moyes has resigned as the manager of Sunderland after finishing bottom of the Premier League this season.
The former Manchester United and Everton manager has endured a terrible campaign in his first season as Sunderland boss, finishing at the foot of the table and winning just 6 of their 38 games.
The final nail in the coffin appeared to be the 5-1 loss away at champions Chelsea yesterday. Sunderland will be looking for a new boss before they begin next season playing in the Championship.
