Tottenham Hotspur star could miss start of the season

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that goalkeeper Hugo Lloris could miss the start of next season after suffering a fractured wrist in training.

Spurs have confirmed that the Frenchman will continue to work closely with the first-team, without doing too much work amid risk of damaging his wrist further, but he faces a race to be fit in time for next season.

Lloris Wanted

The 28-year-old has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane this summer, with Manchester United reportedly interested as Real Madrid‘s interest in David De Gea continues to grow.

However, his recent will almost certainly keep him at the club past this transfer window.

Lloris has been at Spurs for three years now since arriving from Ligue 1 side Lyon. The ‘keeper has gone on to become the club-captain and a mainstay in the first-team.
