New York Red Bull centre-back Matt Miazga is currently undergoing a medical at Chelsea Football Club.
The 20-year-old defender has been a shock transfer target for the Premier League champions, and Sky Sports News have just revealed a medical is currently happening in London.
Miazga has been with the Red Bulls for two years now, making 34 MLS appearances, scoring the one goal.
The American has made one appearances for his national side, and is now on the brink of joining Chelsea in a deal believed to be worth around £3million.
Miazga will be the third defensive signing in recent months for Chelsea, following Michael Hector and Papy Djilobodji, who joined over the summer.
