Watford Football Club have had an £8million bid accepted by Rennes for Abdoulaye Doucouré.
The midfielder is now travelling to England in order to finalise the deal where he will undergo a medical and discuss personal terms.
The 23-year-old has been with the Ligue 1 club since 2012, making 72 league appearances, but he’s now set to end his four-year association with the club.
Doucoure will be Watford‘s record breaking transfer should the deal go through, and the player’s representatives are already in London at the club’s training ground.
