BREAKING: WBA announce Rickie Lambert
Striker joins from Liverpool
West Bromwich Albion Football Club have announced the signing of Rickie Lambert from Liverpool.
The 33-year-old has agreed to a two-year deal at The Hawthorns after struggling to impress at his boyhood club.
Lambert spent just one season at Anfield after moving from Southampton for £4million, but will now look to get his career back on track with WBA.
After announcing the signing, Tony Pulis revealed his delight at landing Lambert.

“Rickie is a good, strong, solid player who is a great character, good in the dressing room and good on the pitch,” said the Albion head coach.
“We are very pleased to have him on board.
“He’s a player of great pedigree and we look forward to integrating him into our squad.”
Lambert underwent a medical today and will be given the number-17 shirt.
