Santi Cazorla may be set to shock Arsenal by returning to Spain at the end of the season.
According to Spanish radio station, Cadena Cope, Cazorla has already agreed personal terms with La Liga champions Atletico Madrid.
Atleti will now open up talks with Arsenal over a potential fee for the playmaker. Once money is agreed between the two teams, Cazorla will be clear to return to his country of birth.
He has been in great form for the North London side this campaign, but in the summer he will only have a year left on his current contract.
Arsenal may consider cashing in on Cazorla, who has already played in Spain. Notably for Villareal and Malaga.
