On the day of Mourinho’s 100th home game in charge of Chelsea, it looked like he was on the verge of being handed his very first loss at home. However a late penalty saw Chelsea draw equal with West Brom and keep Mourinho’s home record intact.

Chelsea went ahead after Samuel Eto’o scored his fourth goal in four home games, just before half time.

In the second half West Brom came alive and scored 2 goals, thanks to Shane Long and Sessegnon.

However the main talking point of the day will be the penalty decision, where Steven Reid collided with Ramires. It looks to be a decision that will have Chelsea fans saying it was a penalty all day long, while West Brom fans will be screaming It was never a penalty.

Jose Mourinho has praised winger Eden Hazard for taking the penalty under pressure, after being put in the doghouse for missing training earlier in the week.

‘Penalties in training are easy to score, I score them, these penalties are difficult and Hazard was very calm’
