According to Malky Mackay, Referee Anthony Taylor made a horrendous decision to allow Eden Hazard to score Chelsea’s Equaliser against Cardiff today. The goal came after Cardiff Keeper David Marshall decided to bounce the ball ready to kick it away when Eto’o kicked the ball away and layed it up for Hazard to score.

‘He bounced the ball. It’s a huge mistake, and a horrendous error’ said Mackay

However on the other side of the argument Chelsea’s assistant first team coach Steve Holland said, ‘The referee had a clear view and knows the rules’

Mackay said that the error happened because of lack of communication between the referee and the linesman. ‘They got it wrong between them and it’s cost us. We went in half time at 1-1, when it should have been 1-0’

Even though this decision will most likely over shadow today’s game, no one can deny that Chelsea had this game under control for most of the 90 minutes, especially in the second half with 3 additonal goals from Oscar, Hazard scoring his second in the game, and Eto’o scoring his very first goal for Chelsea.
