The two clubs held secret talks in Monaco over a deal to bring Pogba to Chelsea

Juventus and Chelsea were both in France yesterday for the Champions League draw and it’s been claimed that talks took place between the two clubs over a potential offer for the Juventus midfielder.

Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri who made the claims added that negotiation is not closed and Juventus are looking to get a player from Chelsea for the deal to go through.

This could be the potential downfall of the deal though as according to the Telegraph, Jose Mourinho does not want to let any of his players head to Juventus.

Which Chelsea player could be heading to Turin?

Although it looks like Mourinho isn’t interested in selling any of his players, he could change his mind if it helps push through this deal. One player who could leave is Ramires who may be deemed surplus to requirements if Pogba joined as the London outfit already have an abundance of talent in midfield.

It would be unlikely that Mourinho would offload Jon Obi Mikel as he is a big fan of the midfielder and he is often the first person Chelsea call upon to see out games.

Branislav Ivanovic could be an option to offload after his poor start to the season but it would be a risk with Chelsea’s lack of options at right back.
