Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale swapping clubs?

According to reports, Chelsea and Real Madrid could be part of one of the biggest ever player-swap deals which could see Eden Hazard go one way, and Gareth Bale go the other.

Speculation has been high regarding the futures of both wingers, and with Madrid interested in Hazard and Chelsea keen on Bale, the two parties could negotiate a stunning swap deal.

Bale’s Struggles

Bale had a stunning debut season in Spain but has suffered from second season syndrome during the 2014/2015 campaign and fans have quickly got on the Welshman’s back.

Manchester United are desperate to lure the winger back to the Premier League but it looks like the ball is in Chelsea’s court with the power of a swap-deal.

As well as a potential Hazard/Bale swap, there has been talk of a David De Gea/Bale swap plus United paying some money as a transfer fee, but those reports have died down in recent weeks.

Madrid Pushing Deal

According to the English media, Madrid are pushing forward a potential swap-deal and are keen to find out whether Chelsea would be interested or not.

However, in recent interviews, both Jose Mourinho and Hazard rubbished reports suggesting a move to the Bernabeu could be happening at the end of the current season.

Hazard Value

Mourinho admitted that he values Hazard at around £200million, which he explained as £100m-per-leg, but with the chance to sign Bale an option, he could be persuaded to do the deal.
